How to Solve the Biggest Problems with Exercise

People have a number of reasons or “problems” that prevent them from working out and enjoying a higher level of health with a lower body weight. Here are some of the biggest ones, as well as ways to overcome them:

  1. I don’t have time to work out.

Fitting a workout into your schedule isn’t always easy, but it is one action that can improve your quality of life (and even lengthen it) which makes it worth finding the time. If your days are full, it may be best to exercise in the morning, before anything else can get in your way. Lunchtime is good too if you’re typically busy after work. Schedule it in your day and it’s more likely to happen.

  1. I don’t have enough energy to exercise.”

The nice thing about exercise is that it actually gives you energy through the endorphins it releases. So, by doing it, you’ll actually have more energy and solve this problem! Until you develop it as a habit though, it may help to have a pre-workout cup of coffee to give you that caffeine boost to get you going.

  1. I want to exercise, but I have to take care of my kids.”

One way to solve this problem is to get together with other moms you know and take turns watching the kids so you can all get your exercise in. It’s also an option to do exercises with your children, like going on a walk or bike ride.

  1. I want to exercise but don’t know what to do.”

Any bit of movement helps, but if you want a structured exercise program and aren’t sure how to create one, then one session with a personal trainer is enough to get you started. That way, you’ll know which exercises are best for you, which also means that you’ll get better results.
