I worked for 22 years within the mental health field as A support worker and activities Co-ordinator carrying out gentle exercise sessions and anxiety management groups. After years of battling my own mental health demons with anxiety, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder I decided That I needed to pursue other avenues for my own wellbeing and forward progression. My mental health had on times sucked the life out of me and Beaten me. Not just mentally but also physically. In the mornings my mind would tell me not to get up. So, I didn’t. I didn’t want to speak to or interact with anyone. So, I didn’t. I didn’t want to eat or look after myself, so I didn’t. I did nothing to change it so got the same outcomes.
Now my days start at 04:00 and are now filled with how I can achieve positives, even within negative situations. How I can breakdown obstacles. How I can adapt and get meaningful results and how my interactions can help and drive others. I took the plunge to leave what I have always known and pursue my dreams of making a difference to other people’s lives. I now work full time with personal Training, sports therapies and life coaching full time and feel that I am having a huge amount of positive impact on others, with a specific focus on the mind. I assist others with many aspects of forward progression that range from bodybuilding, fat loss, nutritional education and goal setting and life balance whilst fine tuning the mind.
