Becoming fit is great, all it takes is a little motivation from yourself and you can turn a bad situation into a good one. Being fit has great benefits for your health, body and mind! so what better time to start. I remember the first saying the navy taught me, “there is no such word as can’t!”

People should be focusing on more outdoor activities as we move into summer, we have better weather, longer days and we make the most of them. If you have kids they love the outdoors and they love being involved with activities it helps builds there confidence and keeps them fit too.
Remember you don’t have to go every day, just follow the guidelines three times a week for 20-40 minutes. Weather you like running, golf, tennis, cycling, walking, swimming or any other sport the outdoors can cater for your needs.

Look for benches, grass, steps, trees, lap posts, bars, fences these can all be used in outdoor fitness.
