Now make sure to do back exercises accompanied with stretching if you wish to keep your spine in check and you wish to stay away from any for of back pain or injury as well. So what you can do while stretching is to make sure that you do not wear any sort of tight clothing that could bind you. There are certain things that you have to make sure of while you stretch. Firstly make sure that while you stretch you do not experience any sort of pain. See that you are not forcing your body into any such particular positions that are causing you pain, if the particular position is causing you pain then stop yourself right there. You could actually end up injuring yourself even more. Remember to slowly stretch try not to bounce as this could in return tear muscles which could cause you a severe injury. The best way for you to stretch is to lay down on a clean and completely flat surface and then stretch yourself. Make sure that you are holding your stretches fro about 20 to 30 seconds only, so that your muscles can easily loosen up. Now make sure to repeat the entire process again and again for at least 5 to 10 times to experience an improvement in your back pain. However, if you are already suffering from neck or lower back pain then it is advisable to get yourself checked by a physician or a physical therapist. Discuss your pain areas and you might find out some exercises that would be most suitable for you.

Why should one stretch?

Indulging in regular stretching exercises help by keeping your body muscles and ligaments flexible, also stretching helps in reducing the stress on your joints and improves the blood flow throughout the body. Plus if you don’t stretch your muscles will turn stiff, this will lead to limitation of movement and can even cause your back pain to worsen as well. so no matter what you do, make sure to include stretching in your daily routine. You don’t need to do some gym-worthy stretching exercises, instead, indulge in simple stretching exercises and yoga only. This will help in reducing your back pain and will make it a lot easier for you to go on about your life as well.
