3 Mindful Eating Tricks that Will Help You Lose Weight Almost Effortlessly

Losing weight can be the hardest thing you’ve ever done. In fact, if you’re like most people, you struggle with it over and over again, going through the same weight loss – weight gain cycle time after time, trying not to give up completely. Fortunately, there is a way to make the process easier.

It is called mindful eating and, although it is rather simple, the results it provides are amazing as the weight just begins to almost melt off your body. With that thought in mind, here are three mindful eating tricks that will likely make it easier to hit your weight loss goal:

Eat Slowly

When you eat so fast that you can barely taste the food, two things happen. First, your mind doesn’t register the act of eating, so your mouth isn’t satisfied and wants more. Second, your stomach isn’t able to register that you’ve had enough until you’ve overeaten and feel stuffed and sluggish.

For these reasons, you want to slow down when you eat and take each bite deliberately. This will satisfy your mouth and your stomach without overdoing it.

Do Nothing Else When You Eat

Multitask when you are eating and you’ll likely take in more calories than you need because you won’t be paying attention to your body and feelings of fullness. So, when you eat, do nothing else. You may be surprised as to how your desire for food goes down just by changing this one behavior.

Don’t Label Foods as “Bad”

This trick centers around not feeling guilt or shame when you eat, therefore causing you to want to eat even more. Label a food as “bad” and you’ll crave it without abandon. However, if you choose to see food as simply food (not good or bad), you’ll find your cravings will diminish as its power over you will be gone.

What types of mindless eating tricks do you find that work?
