3 Natural Appetite Suppressants to Help You Beat Hunger

It doesn’t matter how well-intentioned you are in your fight against weight loss, one good hunger pang is often enough to drive you to your knees, leaving you begging for mercy. Fortunately, there is a way to beat hunger and win the war for good. All it takes is adding three all-natural things to your diet and you can stop most any craving before it starts.

What are these three appetite suppressants that can make losing weight less of a chore?

  • Water. Dehydration and hunger cues are very similar, so ensuring you get enough water daily can help you avoid eating needless calories when what your body really wants (and needs) is a drink. Aim to consume a glass every three to four hours, as well as an additional glass or two when you work out to replace the water that you lose via sweat.

  • Protein. Out of all of the macronutrients, protein is the one that provides the most appetite suppressing punch. Ideally, you should have some type of protein every time you eat to keep your blood sugar stable and your tummy satisfied. Some options to consider include lean meat, eggs, low-fat dairy, and fish.

  • Fiber. The fiber in fruits, veggies, and certain complex carbs takes longer to digest, which means that you’ll be fuller longer. As a side note, if you don’t eat much fiber now, aim to increase this amount slowly to avoid causing yourself gastrointestinal distress.

When you include these three all-natural appetite suppressants in your diet, weight loss becomes more natural and less forced. This makes the process easier to stick to, which also means you’re more likely to hit your weight loss goal.

What are some natural appetite suppressants that you’ve found to work, that you’re willing to share with others so they can enjoy them as well?
