3 Tips to Help Remove Fat From Your Waist

Not only does fat around the waistline tend to bother people the most when it comes to looking better physically, but it is also the worst place possible to carry your extra weight health-wise. Why? Because fat that accumulates around your midsection threatens the function of your vital organs, making getting rid of it important to your health and wellness.

Here are three tips to help you do just that:

Tip #1: Engage In Interval Training

The great thing about interval training is that it revs up your metabolism both during your exercise session and for a good amount of time after. Plus, you only have to do 20-minute workouts to start seeing the benefits around your waistline rather quickly. To do it, just alternate 30 seconds of high intensity cardio with 90 seconds of low to medium intensity cardio during the course of the workout session.

Tip #2: Eat More Protein and Fewer Carbs

One of the best eating plans for lowering fat in the tummy area involves increasing your consumption of protein and reducing your consumption of carbs. This means more lean meats, fish, eggs, nuts, and low-fat dairy and less white bread, pasta, white flour, and white rice. Your body does require some carbs to function efficiently, just choose healthier ones like whole wheat bread and brown rice.

Tip #3: Take the Time to De-Stress

When you are stressed, your body releases a hormone called cortisol and cortisol encourages the retention of fat. Therefore, lowering your stress levels is a great way to also lower the amount of fat that your body tries to hold onto. Go for walks, chat with your pals, or meditate. It doesn’t really matter what you do as long as it relaxes you.

Do these three things and your waist size should start to decrease. What tips do you follow when you want to trim this particular area of your body?
