L-Carnitine

L-Carnitine is an amino acid and normally is produced and released by the kidneys, most people would know Carnitine as one of the mostly used supplement's for fat burning.

L-Carnitine aids and transports the breakdown of fatty acids within the body.

L-Carnitine is normally synthesized in the kidneys for body growth and during pregnancy.

L-Carnitine has been placed on the market as a weight loss supplement, but still today we still have no real evidence to support this theory that L-Carnitine removes fat.

The recent studies that have been made, have shown that carnitine can reduce fat levels and increase muscle mass. Both processes contribute to fat mass reduction. Also research has shown that regular supplements have improved energy levels, body movement and has helped combat osteoporosis for elderly people.

L-Carnitine supplements can be found in most health shops, you can also intake caritine in your diet naturally with food.
