  • Home is open 24/7. If you work weird hours or long days, there is no rushing to get in before the doors are locked because home is never closed.
  • You aren’t fighting for machines or equipment. Going to a busy gym often means waiting in line to use the equipment you’ve decided to add to your fitness routine, whereas working out at home allows you to use your own equipment without having someone else stand there and look at you as if to say, “Are you almost done?
  • Home is cleaner. Of course, most people sweat when they workout which can leave the benches and grips a breading place for germs. Sure, you can clean the equipment before you use it (which you should), but why do that when you can contend with only your sweat at your home based gym?
  • You can leave the weights set where you want them. Work out at a gym and you’ll have to reset the weights every time you work out. However, work out at home and you can keep them set where you’d like so that you can just jump into your workout when you are ready.
  • It’s more private. If you’re a person that likes to sweat in private, a home workout is the key to being comfortable. That way you don’t have to worry about how ugly you look when you’re grunting your way to fitness because no one is going to see you but you.
