A reaction agility ball is used by sportsmen for training purpose. In almost all the sporting events the athletes need to have fast reaction time, better hand eye coordination and agility. This type of ball enhances the agility and reaction time of the athletes participating in various sporting events.

A reaction agility ball is not spherical in shape. This ball has number of small spheres all around it, which is the main reason why no one can predict its actual path. A reaction agility ball is often made up of rubber. This ball can be easily sighted because it is bright in colour.

Training with reaction agility ball is not easy due to its irregular shape. The path of the ball cannot be predicted because of its uncanny shape. The training is done by bouncing the ball and than catching it. Catching a reaction agility ball is not easy because the ball changes the path dramatically. The ever changing path of the ball helps in improving the speed and reaction time of the athletes.

Training with reaction agility ball also improves the hand eye coordination of the athletes. A reaction agility ball is also known as reflex ball. The ball is not manufactured according to any particular configuration.

Training with a reaction agility ball can be done alone by throwing it on the wall and than catching it on its return path. It is not simple as it sounds because the ball changes the direction drastically.

Two or three athletes can also train simultaneously by using a reaction agility ball. During a training session the athletes should throw the ball to the other athlete. The athletes should make conscious effort to catch the ball.

Frequent training with the reaction agility ball drastically increases the reaction time and agility of the athletes. This training technique is widely used in sports like football, cricket, tennis, athletics, badminton, hockey and many other sports.
