What level is your motivation?
Often we leave motivation decide for itself, depending on weather, diet, social events, time scale and family matters there are many different reasons why our motivation moves to different levels.
Motivation is the key for any weight loss, diet or fitness program, without motivation its nearly impossible to achieve your goals.
First stage, gain motivation.
I trained at a gym five for years, during this time I though I was highly motivated, but the truth is I had motivation to go to the gym but I had no goal, so the workouts were near enough pointless. I didn’t want to lose weight or tone up, I just trained for no reason.
What were my goals ?
I needed find a sport or hobby was interested in doing
What did I want to achieve ?
I wanted to become a triathlete.
How did I get this idea?
I over heard a couple chatting about a triathlon, then I thought this was something for me,I wanted to give it ago. It was something completely new for me a whole lifestyle change, I have never felt so better, for the first time in my life something to train for, training with reason makes a huge difference in performance and motivation.
I record everything in a diary, on completion of each daily fitness program log it into the diary. This give me huge satisfaction each day, I can look back and see everyday has its meaning, no day is wasted.
