Italian biscotti
Ingredients
- 6 cups flour
- 11/2 cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 pinches salt
- 3 tsp vanilla
- 7eggs
- 1 1/2 cup nut or fruit
Method
- mix till stiff dough
- roll into logs
- brush with egg white
- bake at 170 for 20 minutes
- cool and then
- slice thin diagonal pieces and place back into oven for 10 minutess on 150 c
This biscotti recipe is wonderful with extra added fruit or mixed nuts, if you have a function of coffee shops these are marvelous accompaniments for your beverages.
