Italian biscotti


  • 6 cups flour
  • 11/2 cups sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 pinches salt
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 7eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup nut or fruit


  1. mix till stiff dough
  2. roll into logs
  3. brush with egg white
  4. bake at 170 for 20 minutes
  5. cool and then
  6. slice thin diagonal pieces and place back into oven for 10 minutess on 150 c

This biscotti recipe is wonderful with extra added fruit or mixed nuts, if you have a function of coffee shops these are marvelous accompaniments for your beverages.
