Signs of Hypoglycemia

Some signs to watch out for are

loss of concentration,  sweating,  dizziness, hunger, blurred vision, headache, shaking or shivering or loss of consciousness.

Immediate treatment is essential, carbs need to be put into the system.

We can do this in three ways

  • 3 glucose tablets
  • 1/2 can of soft drink or fruit juice
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or sugar

Normal it would take 15 minutes for sugars to be released into the blood system.
