Salt

The contents of your normal day to day table salt is 40% sodium and 60% chloride. The average recommended daily allowance for salt is 4g per day, we find these days that salt is highly addictive and has a link to hypertension.

Hypertension contributes to an increase in high blood pressure and regular consumption over 4g can be fatal lending to high blood pressure and even heart failure.

You can always try to use different ingredients to counter salt levels, low salt and soy sauce can be good replacements which you can use in place we cooking or garnishing.

Their is no need to add salt to your meals as most food produce already contains sodium, tinned produce holds high sodium levels any food which is kept in brine (salt & Water) is bad. Try to find an alternative water or juice.

Mostly everyone need to reduce salt there salt levels from there diets, so start now reduce.
