Benefits from exercise work against ageing

Exercise is know to keep your brain active and young!

Researchers from American journal of Neuroradiology  looked at two age groups, both groups where between the ages of 60-80. Within the groups they used magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to measure and examine the number of blood vessels in the brain.

The study showed that the group which did at least three hours of exercise a week had  more small blood vessels with less twists, as we age our blood vessels within the brain become narrower and twist.

Therefor the brain will be slower in making reactions also memory can be delayed and we find it hard to concentrate.

So the study shows that exercise can help our brains later in life, not to mention will give our bodies great benefit for the later time in life !
