sweet homemade scones

Recipe followed makes 24 scones


  • 1,500 strong flour
  • 100g baking powder
  • 80g sugar
  • 250g butter grated
  • 250g fruit

Mix together until light biscuit mixture reached , be careful not to over work mix then add

  • 1,600 cream


  1. mix together until everything just binds
  2. then place on to work top, press down and cut into squares 2 inches depth and 4 inches squared .
  3. brush with cream
  4. place onto greased baking tray
  5. 176c 2 mins( too achieve raise)
  6. then turn down and  place on 155c for 10 mins
  7. remove from oven and cool on tray
