Recipe followed makes 24 scones
Ingredients
- 1,500 strong flour
- 100g baking powder
- 80g sugar
- 250g butter grated
- 250g fruit
Mix together until light biscuit mixture reached , be careful not to over work mix then add
- 1,600 cream
Method
- mix together until everything just binds
- then place on to work top, press down and cut into squares 2 inches depth and 4 inches squared .
- brush with cream
- place onto greased baking tray
- 176c 2 mins( too achieve raise)
- then turn down and place on 155c for 10 mins
- remove from oven and cool on tray
