italian biscotti recipe

Recipe followed makes 100 biscotti


  • 6 cups flour
  • 11/2 cups sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 pinches salt
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 7eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup nut or fruit


  1. mix until stiff dough achieved
  2. roll into logs
  3. brush with egg white
  4. bake at 170 for 20 mins
  5. cool then
  6. slice thin diagonal pieces and place back into oven for 10 mins on 150
