Vegetable chow mein

  

 

  • 200g noodles egg (soak)
  • garlic
  • 20 ml soy sauce
  • 100g bean sprouts
  • Fresh ginger sliced
  • Grated carrot
  • vegetable oil 2 tbsp
  • sliced cabbage
  • sliced onion
  • 5 ml lemon juice
Method
  1. Soak noodles for 3 hours in water until they go soft, then drain
  2. Place wok/ large frying pan on high heat, add oil, ginger and garlic
  3. fry for 30 seconds and add cabbage & onion cook then add soy
  4. cook for 1 minute then add noodles and fry for 3 minutes
  5. Finally add some pepper, lemon juice and bean sprouts and carrot
  6. serve
       Really lost cost meal, great tasting and meat free!
