How to make porridge

 

Porridge is one of the best breakfast choices around, so cheap and so good. This breakfast is made for champions, great 2 -3 hours before any sports event , triathlon, football game, rugby, tennis or a marathon. It will be sure to load your muscles with energy.  You can change this recipe and add any fruit or spice you want, cinnamon and apple is another match made in heaven  ingredients. 

 

Porridge recipe chocolate and blueberry;

  • 150g Oats

  • 75 ml Milk

  • 300ml water

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • handful Blueberries

  • 3 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 cup chocolate pieces

  • 1 Banana

Method 

  1. place pan of water on the medium heat add milk and bring to the boil

  2. Add oats, salt and sugar and keep stirring for 2 minutes, as the oats heat up they will soaked up the fluid, when they reach the bubble point remove from heat.

  3. Turn the heat to low place on heat again add chocolate and berries to the mixture.

  4. Slice a banana and serve hot
