Breathing and running

Here are some pointers to look for and understand about breathing whilst running.

When running its important to find the right breathing pattern, breathing is very important as oxygen supplies our body with energy.

Find your pattern, do this by inhaling every two steps , then exhale every two alternate steps or chose every three or four steps. More important to find your comfortable pattern.

Loosen your facial muscles, take deep breaths through your mouth as this will allow more oxygen flow into your body, helping  muscles by giving them more oxygen will give you a relaxed feeling whilst training.

Concentrate on breathing through your stomach rather than your chest, as your abs  can allow an  increased volume of oxygen. At the same time this will work your abdominal whilst running, incorporating more muscle action into the movement is a great idea.
