Hydration tablets are tablets that you can drop into a bottle or glass of water to add electrolytes to it. This is important as it helps replace the ones that you typically lose when engaged in rigorous physical exercise, keeping you optimally hydrated and your electrolyte levels more balanced, making you not only feel better, but you will likely perform better as well.

Common electrolytes contained within hydration tablets include sodium, potassium, and magnesium. Calcium, vitamin B, and vitamin C are also in some of them and they help rejuvenate and replenish your body’s stores of these particular nutrients.

Depending on the manufacturer, you can get hydration tablets in a variety of flavors, ranging from orange to lemon tea to watermelon and more. Most contain no sugar or carbs, so you aren’t giving your body anything other than the electrolytes that it so desperately needs.

What Are the Benefits of Hydration Tablets?

The benefit of using hydration tablets includes experiencing fewer muscle cramps, improved muscle function and performance, and having a more effective energy burn. They can also make you feel more energized and focused, giving you the brain and body power to do whatever you need to do to compete fully in your sport of choice.

Some of the sports athletes that use hydration tablets to get the benefits that they offer are endurance cyclers, marathon runners, and triathlon competitors. Basically, anyone who is going to be continuously exerting a high amount of energy over a long period of time can benefit from replacing electrolytes at regular intervals.
