Depression is a mental illness that can be debilitating and difficult to overcome. It can affect one’s daily life, relationships, and job performance. What is depression?

However, if you are experiencing a depressive episode for the first time, it is likely that you are experiencing a break from reality. This can be due to one of the many causes of depression, such as trauma, grief, or loss. It's always best to speak to people, if you are depressed or if you think the person you thinking of is depressed.  Depression can be hard to spot in some people especially if they are outgoing and normally full of life. The best way is to speak to them and ask the question "How are you ?" if they answer "Fine" ask again "How are you really feeling" this might trigger a different no automated response as you are really asking them!

There are many different types of treatment for depression. Some of them may include

How to cope with depression

It can be difficult to cope with depression, especially if you are the one who has it. There are ways to help others who are struggling with depression, but there are also ways to help yourself. 

Generally depression starts with a you speaking with yourselves over certain situations or problems. You tend to feel that these issues are out of your control and you are helpless in changing and finding solutions to coupe or deal with problems.

Remember lots of people suffer with depression and the number increases every year with cases. Near enough all humans will suffer with some form depression at some point in life.
