Magnesium  is one of the most important minerals we need to intake on a regular basis. The reason is simple, magnesium is responsible for biological movements and reactions. It helps by binding the cells in order to supply our body with vital energy.

Magnesium  is responsible for the breakdown of glucose and turning it into energy. The recommended daily amount is 300-400g per adult. Lack of magnesium has been shown to effect a large amount physical problems. It can help with diabetes, high blood pressure , migraines and cardiovascular diseases.

The best way to increase your energy levels is with magnesium. Normally a small amount of magnesium deficiency can play a huge effect with your energy levels. If you often feel tired and lack the energy to exercise then you should try increasing your magnesium, either with a supplement or through your diet.

Good food sources; Halibut, milk, buckwheat, spinach and Wholemeal bread.
