Caramelised balsamic onions, sun dried tomato, cranberry, apple and Brie puff pasty bakeIngredients
- 1 Fresh puff pastry in roll (Jus Rol Ready Rolled Puff Pastry 320g)
- 1 Brie wedge - cut into small cubes
- 6 tsp cranberry sauce
- 1 apple cored and finely sliced
- 4 sun dried tomatoes sliced
- 4 onions finely sliced
- 50ml Balsamic vinegar
- tsp sugar
- tsp mustard
- 10g dried thyme
- tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
Pre heat oven 230°C for 10 mins
Roll out puff pastry on baking tray , with a knife score the top of the pastry then cook in oven hot oven for 15-20 mins to cook the pastry,
Whilst this is cooking place pan on the hob medium heat add olive oil bring to the heat add onions and cook for 5 minutes, then add mustard, thyme and balsamic vinegar and boil for 1 minute. Add the sugar and cook for a further 1 minute.
Remove the pastry from the oven and place the sliced apples on top, then drizzle with the balsamic mixture over the top using a spoon spread the onions over the pastry. Then place the brie cubes over the on top with the sliced sun dried tomatoes and finish by spooning the cranberry sauce over the top.
Place in oven and cook for a further 15 Minutes
