Simple Homemade Lasagne Recipe


  • 750g Beef mince fresh 
  • 2 Cloves of garlic crushed
  • 2 large onions diced
  • 2 tbsp Tomato puree 
  • 2 carrots peeled and diced
  • pinch of sugar
  • splash of balsamic vinegar 
  • 100g mushroom quartered
  • 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs
  • 1 Pack Lasagna sheets
  • 300 ml White sauce 
  • 200g Grated cheese
  1. Place olive oil into pan then add garlic, onions, carrot then add the beef mince and  fry at medium heat for 8 minutes, keep stirring the mix until all the beef mince is cooked out
  2. Add the puree tinned tomatoes and cook on low heat then cook on medium heat for 5  minutes, once again keep stirring to make sure the bottom doesn't burn
  3. After 5 minutes add the remain ingredients balsamic, sugar, mixed herbs, mushrooms,  to the mince mix, then season with salt and pepper to taste
  4. Place first layer of sauce in baking tray, then cover with lasagna sheets, repeat 3-4 times until mix is finished.
  5. Finish with last layer and top with white sauce  cover with cheese and place in the preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius or Gas mark 6 then allow 45 minutes to cook.
