Well, the answer depends largely on what you want it to do and how much you want to spend.

If you’re on a budget…

When you’re watching your money and can’t afford or don’t want to spend too much, then the Fitbit Zip may be the tracker of your dreams. Simply clip it onto your clothes and move around and it wirelessly collects information such as how many steps you’ve taken, the number of calories you’ve burned, how far you’ve gone, and more. Plus, it syncs to your smartphone or computer so you can easily see your progress no matter what device you’re on.

If price matters, but you’re okay spending a little bit to get a good one…

The Fitbit charge HR is a fitness tracker that is a little more expensive than the Zip, but you also get more features that can ultimately help you improve your fitness level. For instance, the charge also monitors your heart rate, has caller ID, and can even act as an alarm to ensure that you never sleep through another workout again.

If you want a ton of features…

While some people are okay with the basics or the basics and a couple extras, others want much more which is where the Fitbit Surge comes into play. In addition to the basics, it also keeps track of your heart rate, monitors your sleep, tells you when you have a new text message, and even has GPS to monitor your routes and elevation levels. It has it all!
