Ultimate Protein Smoothie

 

  • 1 Cup Soy milk
  • 2 Diced and cored Apples,
  • Handful Raspberries
  • 1/2 Cup Yogurt
  • 1/4 Cup walnuts
  • 3 Ice cubes

Method

  1. First rinse all fruit. Core the apple and cut into small cubes.
  2. Place ice then soy, apples , walnuts , yoghurt and raspberries for more sweetness
  3.  Blend until smooth , Place into glass and serve.

Best to drink your smoothie within 10 minutes after blending! If you don’t the mixture of nutrients will absorb one another.

Soy milk contains a high amount of certain amino acids which are need for your muscles to grow and repair. They deliver essential acids for your total body needs. Always select the unsweetened soy milk and make sure you maintain fewer calories.

Soy milk and yoghurt both have a high level of BV (biological value). The BV stands for the speed the foods are broken down nutrients then synthesised into proteins ready to replenish our muscles fast and effectively.

Apples, raspberries and carrots  all have high levels of Amino acids and add the natural sweetness for your smoothie.

Walnuts are high glutamine which helps put the protein immediately into use.
