Peace One Day Swansea

Putting Swansea on the Musical Map!

As part of Peace One Day, Swansea’s Ostreme Centre is playing host to an Arts Music Festival in aid of children and young people with cancer, and their families.

Rene and Jennifer Harwood from Fitness Health are organising this jamboree to raise valuable funds for CLIC Sargent during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The event will take place from 10.30am to 3.00pm on Sunday 21st September

The day promises to be fun for all the family with everything from raffles and live music to food and drink sales and an art exhibition!

Rene said: “We are really excited for this Arts Music Festival because it will be something new for Swansea.

Rene added: “Peace One Day is being supported by celebrities such as Jude Law and Michael Douglas so with this music festival we are hoping to put Swansea on the map whilst supporting a great cause!”

Rene and Jennifer wish to raise as much money as possible for CLIC Sargent as Rene’s mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer. The couple wish to support children and young people who have also been diagnosed with this devastating disease.

Hannah Worrall, Fundraising Manager at CLIC Sargent said: “We are so thrilled that Rene and Jennifer are hosting such a great event in Swansea and I hope all of their hard work will pay off.”
