  • Less than 18 underweight
  • 18-20 healthy weight do not lose any more
  • 20-25 healthy weight
  • 25-30 Overweight
  • 30-40 Obese
  • Over 40 extremely obese

Example, Man weights 84 kg divided by height squared (1.76 x 1.76 )

1.76 x 1.76 = 3.09

Weight divided by height

3.09  84 kg = 27.18

Then this shows that the man is overweight according to the BMI scale, so simple and easy anyone can do it !
