Reflex Albion® Ferrochel Iron Bisglycinate is a chelated and highly bioavailable iron supplement, formulated by Albion Laboratories, Inc. for Reflex Nutrition. Ferrous bisglycinate is said to have a 40% bioavailability, compared with other forms like ferrous sulphate (often seen in cheap iron supplements), with an estimated 20% bioavailability. Iron oxide (another form) has been shown to have essentially, zero bioavailability, with the additional risk of potential toxicity, making ferrous bisglycinate superior in quality.
