Homemade Potato Wedges
Recipe for potato homemade wedges
- 3 kg Potatoes
- Oil 1/2 cup
Turn your oven on to 200 c then Chop all the potatoes in halves then into 1/3. Keep your wedges thin so that they cook faster.
Placing all the potatoes in a large baking tray, pour oil onto the wedges. Turn all the wedges making sure all have a good coating. Its important when placing them in the oven to give them a little room so they can all get the good heat.
Sprinkle the salt and pepper over the wedges before placing in the oven. You can always add spices like chili or herbs to the wedges if you want to infuse the flavours.
Place into oven and cook for 20-25 minutes. First check if the wedges are ready do this by pricking with a fork to check they’re soft. Then remove and serve.
