Why smoothies are so great

Great for meals on the go and kids love them. Smoothies are one of the easiest ways in which you can deliver your kids with vital vitamins and minerals.  The best thing about the smoothie is that kids drink them without even knowing they are healthy and nutritious, (A great  little secret).

They’re great for your body’s regeneration process, A smoothie will help the lock away all the effort from training. After a hard session you need to replenish and fuel your body activate anabolism and re-hydrate.

Drinking a smoothie within 30 minutes of completing is essential. When you leave the smoothie for a longer time the nutrients often absorb each other and all the goodness will disappear.

Try and avoid supermarket smoothies as these are often loaded with sugar to help preserve they’re self life.

It’s easy to create your own smoothie. All you need are some vital key ingredients and then your free to create the smoothie of your dreams.

The key ingredients you need for your smoothie are

1 Cup  Yogurt

1/4 cup Frozen berries or ice cubes

1/4 cup Milk or fruit juice

1 or 2 pieces of fruit

You can always  add yogurt, milk, flax seeds, nuts, wheat germ, or protein powder to the blender for nutrients.

Berries are one of best food nutrients we can choose in our daily diet for the intake of vital vitamins and minerals, not only can they supply us with rich nutrients but berries are also great at burning fat.

Smoothies are so easy to make: all you do is place all the ingredients into a jug and blend.

The hardest process of smoothie making is getting the measurements right. If you don’t get these right, you can end up with thick paste or milky flavoured fruit drink.
